I opened up my plastic bin (to the offender's credit, it was broken and not completely sealed) of Christmas ornaments today to find black grains of rice in the bottom.
Mouse shit. I have never seen a mouse in our house but I am sure they get in through the roof and scurry around our storage space in the attic.
WHAT THE FUCK. Apparently my 2nd grade art project of gluing raw macaroni to a round piece of cardboard and then coating it with gold spray paint fed a small army of mice all last winter. Or just one obese, retarded one that chomped its way through gold Krylon, glue, raw wagon wheels, elbows, and bow ties, and cardboard.
That was one of my favorite ornaments. I should let DeeDee and Soundcheck free in the attic and let them go berserk. Not another creature will be stirring around this fucking house.
