A Visit to my Future School
Went up to MVille today with Mom, Auntie Gina, Matthew, and both dogs. (We brought Franny because we thought she would be lonely at home with no one to watch her and she might enjoy it up there getting to go on adventures like Jazzy.) We picked Matthew up at his track meet and had a picnic lunch sitting on a stone wall near a school before going to the college. It was so beautiful and sunny out today, ideal weather for eating lunch outside. Then we got to MVille and I met Megan and David and officially told them I'd be going there next year. They were both really happy about this. So was Serena, who we ran into later. Today was Serena's birthday and they were all going out tonight to celebrate. We also found their friends Katie and Justin. I'd met Justin at the International Bazaar. Katie was really excited about Jazzy comming to the campus. So we went to the bookstore where I stocked up on Manhatanville stuff: a sweatshirt, a TShirt, a lanyard keychain thing, some decals and bumper stickers for the car, and a pendant to hang on the wall. Then Megan and David and I just sat on the picnic tables they have set up and talked about stuff. Megan's trying to get a Disabled Student Asociation started. That would be really cool. They were reccomending courses to me and talking about clubs and stuff I could join and it was just so fun. Megan and Serena are going to the convention in July and we're trying to get David down there too. Then we looked at their rooms and headed off. It's really nice to have all the college stuff settled. Now we just have to send in a deposit and Nanna's going to make me an afghan for my future dorm in the MVille colors. Such a nice day today.
