Hi folks, Haven't written since Thursday night so I might as well recap the past few days. Here we go!
Friday: went to a Mass dedicated to Popps which was nice, and short. Afterwords I went to the diner with Dad, Nanna, and Auntie Gina. Excellent breakfast. Had class, then did a bunch of quizzes for Personal Finance.
Saturday: started my Christmas shopping, finally. In the afternoon I went to a craft fair where I bought two bandannas for Franny. One has a snowman on it, the other is decorated with a Mets-themed patch. Came home after that, did show prep for this week's episode of the podcast, ate Chinese, and then went out again. Dad and I went to Linins and Things, where we bought a whole bunch of stuff for Mom. Then we came home and Dad did some Christmas shopping for me. (I know what he bought because I had to sit around and tell him exactly what I wanted as he purchased it off Amazon) I now know that I'm getting an IRiver (yay for more portable recording solutions!!) and the wireless card for my Braille Note I've been asking for for nearly two years now.
Sunday: had BKG at Carmen's It was me, Carly, Nick, and Melisa C, a girl who went to camp with us and who I haven't seen in a very long time. After that I came home, had dinner, recorded the podcast, and listened to an excellent Islanders game.
Didn't do much yesterday except go to class and put up our Christmas village. We got all the Christmas stuff down on Sunday but the village and some outside lights are the only things we have up so far. Mom's currently in the middle of traversing the country for four days straight and Dad's up in the Island of Rhode (Aunt Regina's sick so he's helping take care of Grandma) so we probably won't start on anything else till they both get back. I recorded us putting up the village yesterday so that will be a future podcast episode, probably sometime this week. The episode I mentioned before is up and ready for you to listen. Go check it out, the subscription info is in my profile on here. The sound quality's not the best, but it's an improvement over the last two episodes. Hope you enjoy it!!!
