Trick-or-treat

Oct 31, 2006 14:28

Happy Halloween everyone!!! Hope you're having a scarily good day. Looks like I'm just going to be hanging out around the house passing out candy to our trick-or-treaters this year since I have no one to enjoy the holiday with. I don't even have a costume, though I do have a shirt with a pumpkin on it from Target, so that's a step in the right direction.
The past week has been surprisingly productive. I had two tests (one in Communications, one in History of Rock N Roll) and did a whole bunch of assignments and reading for Sociology and Personal Finance. I have another test tomorrow in Sociology, and on Thursday I'm going in to schedule my classes for next semester. My tentative class list includes: Math 002 (aka high-school algebra revisited), Environmental Science, Cultural Anthropology, Human Sexuality, Gym (hopefully with the same teacher I have now) and possibly Vocal Ensemble. I did the math and decided that if I take 13 credits for the next few semesters, plus a few summer classes, I should be able to graduate in 2008. (my mom thinks it's cute that my brother and I would both be starting a four-year college that year) Hopefully things'll keep going as well as they're going now. I was a little unsure about Personal Finance, but I went in and talked to the teacher last week and now I feel a lot better about that class.
Haven't been doing much else except talking to people and listening to stuff. I need to hang out with people more. I saw Roob in the caf yesterday and only realized then how much I missed him and that whole crew. Hmm, maybe I should venture up to the Science Fiction club after all. First impressions aren't everything.
The Cardinals won the World Series. Damn you Missouri!! The Islanders have been doing pretty well though, they beat Florida in overtime last Saturday and have a game tonight against Chicago.
Guess that's it. Bye people!!

BOO!!
