Do we have a Right to listen to a speaker? Last week an 8 year old pick up a gun and shot his grandmother.   From what I can gather, the gun was not “in plain sight” since several of the articles mention that it was in a pouch or purse, which suggests to me that he had to look for it.  But it also was not locked up.
