Anyone who knows me, in person or in cyberspace, knows that my older brother was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer 18 months ago.

He’s still fighting, but the road has been rough for him and his family.  Insurance pays most of the medical, but there are still the daily expenses to pay.  They are feeling the pinch.

Sharon is going in this morning for an interview with my company.  Yeah, they have their problems, but in this economy, any decent paying job is good.  So, say a prayer, think good thought, what ever you will.  This would be a very good thing for her.

Sunday, March 14, 1999 - I made a choice that was partially driven by enlightened self interest that would turn out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Monday was the last day of my P.T. My back is never really going to completely, but it is better than it was in Aug. At least now I know what is wrong and how to deal with it. That’s something. The slight ache in the small of the back and the weird feeling in my foot I get from time to time are just things I will have to live with. Such is life.
