My parents left yesterday morning. We had a great time and ate way too much great food! Patricia is looking forward to eating a bunch of western food this week, since I think with my folks we had only one western meal. Their favorite meal was Peranakan but they liked everything.
Went to a bunch of museums over the weekend and headed to Pulau Ubin, an island with Singapore's last bastion of kampong (rural village) lifestyle. Fun fact: on Pulau Ubin my phone was actually roaming in Malaysia, visible across the water.
I'll miss them (but my waistline won't).
