I remembered something really funny/disturbing/disgusting/annoying that I heard last Tuesday and I thought you might find it funny/disturbing/disgusting/annoying, too.
So, I was in the history building going down the stairs and at the bottom of the stairwell was a trio of jockish, fratboyish guys...you know, the stereotypical MTV crowd. Anyway, one of them was saying the following:
Random Fratboy: "...I'm going to do her after Thanksgiving for sure now that she's got those breast implants. I have to wait until after Thanksgiving though because she's sore from the surgery or something."
EDIT: Oh yeah...and the implants were an 18th birthday present from her parents. I can't decide which is more disturbing...that her parents bought her breast implants for her 18th birthday or that at the age of 18 there is an older looking fratboy talking about fucking her.
Yeah...
So, anyway, here's a list of what I have left to do this semester:
read a couple of short articles -- due tomorrow
finish reading a book and write a report (3-7 pages) over it and then present it to the class -- due Wednesday
do some reading for Music and Social Movements, but I'm not sure what - due Monday the 5th of December
grade the essay portions to around 106 freshman history exams -- due ???
grade eight freshman history optional term papers -- due Tuesday the 13th of December
write up my thesis proposal (3-5 pages but complicated) -- due Tuesday the 6th of December
write big final paper thing (20ish pages) for my Cold War class -- due Wednesday the 7th of December
write final paper (7-10 pages) for Music and Social Movements -- due Monday the 12th of December
write, administer, and grade a final exam for my freshman history class -- test needs to be written (with other TA's help) by next Wednesday (for the other section), but I give the exam on the 13th
I'm not at all stressed out about how far behind I am on all of that (as in I've not started any of it except for the second one - that is, I've read about 30 of the 250 pages), but I can feel myself maybe getting stressed about not being stressed.
Also, my nose is starting to get runny. I really really hope it's just allergies.
Hehe...alright, that's all for tonight.

PS: Oh yeah...I really need to go return my defective recharagable battery set so I can start using my digital camera more! Just thought of that...
