I have here a container of popcorn with a label reading "Popping ratio 40 to 1. See back label." Now you may wonder exactly WTF that means, like I did. On the back all becomes clear: "Pops 40 cc's [sic] per 1g of kernels."

I should go into advertising! I could have improved that label: just change the units to cubic millimeters per TON. Then the label would read "Popping ratio 36,287,389,600 to 1. Pops 36,287,389,600 cubic mm per 1 ton of kernels." Oh yeah, who's selling the popcorn now?
