Everyone talks about letter frequency, but no one does anything about it.

To rectify this, I am introducing the new coolness/use ratio. For any letter, its coolness/use ratio is defined to be its coolness on a 1 to 10 scale divided by its frequency. For instance, Q and X have the highest coolness-to-use ratios. They are very cool, but hardly ever used at all. The goal all humans shall henceforth adopt in their striving to fix the planet: Use letters with high coolness-to-use ratios more!

(A group of postmodernists has just tried to convince me that coolness is not an objective measure: rather it is a social construct, and I just think those letters are cool because they're not used much, making this whole idea an exercise in vacuity. In response, I point out that Z is the least frequently used letter, but it's not as cool as Q or X. Take that, Derrida! I hereby challenge Derrida to a Celebrity Death Match. Yes, of course I'm a celebrity.)
