so. just got back from the fantastic four movie.
humans that gain the magical ability to wear rubber suits and invoke special effects at their own free will.
i liked spiderman because they did a great job in tapping into the realistic aspects of spiderman's life. and i feel that this movie tried really hard to express the same thing, but no. just... no.
also i know that they took extra time on the movie to make mr. fantastic more fantastic. what with elasta girl being pure elastic. but i think that they really only took five extra seconds of film in order to show off his abilities. it was awesome, but yeah... ... just yeah.
though you can really see the differences from stan lee's early works from the fantastic four to his later works with the x-men.
"Hey! We seem to have super-human abilities!"
"Yay! Let's praise them! They are our heros!"
to...
"Hey! We seem to have super-human abilities!"
"AH SHIT! KILL IT! KILLLLLLLLLLLLL IITITTITITIT!!!"
i like the later works better, enough said.
