SUMMARY: One of these characters appeared in the 'slayers awakening' montage in the BtVS finale; the other is my creation, first appearing in http://kerkevik.livejournal.com/159143.html , where they first appeared together.
Sharing bird calls as they strolled, the two young women; one tall with aristocratic bearing and dressed like a Gentleman, the other; uncomfortable in her new dress, paid for with her own earned money, was stockier; though leaner than formerly.
Mary-Elizabeth loved her companion all the more for that insistence.
They shared tales along with the whistles.
The taller woman's amazement was not feigned, for all her travels.
Then she whistled; impressed, long and loud.
There was no questioning of MarieBelle's expenditure though.
Restuarant sighted; she demurred.
It was her birthday gift after all.
Paid for with her own money.
Goddess watch over us all,
