WOWZA
So I was accepted to the Macaulay Honors College in New York City! I'm very excited because they are giving me: FULL tuition, 3 years of free housing, $7500 to study abroad, AND a Mac laptop. AND I'll be in NYC, my favorite place in the whole universe, with a "Culture pass" provided by the college that would get me into museums/shows/etc at a special discount (or absolutely free, in some cases).
The reception dinner for accepted students is this Thursday night at the freaking MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY. In the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life. Which, according to my mother, is only used as a reception hall on very special occasions.
WOWZA.
I think the only way I would turn this down was if I got into Columbia, whichI already know totally isn't happening...But at least I know now that if every other place I applied to rejects me, I have this amazing deal waiting for me! That's certainly a stress reliever!
