Coming back from his notable all-white show, Elie Saab - the undisputed King of the Red Carpet - failed to impress me in his 2010 pastel-dominated collection. While there were some nice designs, and the natural hair/makeup kept it classy, the lack of variety in the shapes and colors made the show very one-note and monotonous. It was a lot of the same, making me think that it could have been a better show if there were perhaps 24 looks instead of 44. Will we still be seeing some of these on the red carpet? Absolutely, because there are some gorgeous pieces. But as a whole show, I got bored pretty quickly.
