Grrrr!

I wrote an angry post about Joe (thank you for your comments, Molly), but then I deleted it because I felt guilty about that rant. After that, the two of us hung out, and he somehow talked me into giving things another go. Yes, I know... I'm a complete sucker and I never learn my damn lesson. Well... I saw him last night, and he said that he wants to just be friends. Do I get some sort of prize for managing to get dumped twice in one month by the same guy?

Anyway... that aside, I had a fun evening hanging out with Jeannette at her place last night. We were crafty. Good times.

I didn't get to bed until about 4:00 this morning. Woke up with a fever and a sore throat. Mom and Don have both been sick, and I was hoping to avoid it. I'm still hoping that it won't be as bad as what they have been dealing with.

I'm working all weekend. So I just hope that I can hang in there until I have a day off. Then I can get sick... for a day.

I'm trying not to be jaded about Valentine's Day, though I've never been a fan. I try my best to paste the smile on when I'm at work, selling a million and one Valentine's Day cards and such. A guy came in today and asked up to wrap the iPod that he purchased for his girlfriend. Here is how my conversation with him went:

Me: Wow! An iPod for Valentine's Day? What do you give for major holidays and how does one manage to get on your gift-giving list?

Him: Yep, I hope she'll like it. I spoil her... or at least I try to. She's so amazing. She is more than worth it.

Me: That's so sweet! Tell her that all of the ladies at Paper Source say that you are a keeper.

Him: Okay. I hope she thinks so.

Well kids... there is a good chance that if you read this, I am a fan of your's. So that being said, Happy Valentine's Day! I hope that you have a lovely day tomorrow.
