This is a little sudden...
So, there is finally something worthwhile to talk about! This last semester my parents (actually my mom) decided it was time to move and that I didn't need to know about it. This means that where I'll be living when I'm here will be much nicer, and where I'll be living in Tempe will be much more ghetto.
My parents and I went to look at a house about 1 o'clock this afternoon and we had made a bid by three. It's a very nice house, with lots of the storage space that my messy family needs. The bedrooms aren't all that big, but the living room and kitchen are huge, and there is a game room with a pool table that we're going to try to get the owners to leave. There's a big utility room for mom, a garage for dad (we've never had one), and a wet bar for myself, hehe. My brother gets... I don't know. More room for his tuba I guess, the darn thing takes up our entire living room as it is. All in all, the house is 3000 square feet, almost double what our current one is. The living room really is giant... its bigger than my apartment in Tempe will be.
Which brings me to why this is a bad thing. We have too much furniture for our current house, and my mother had told me that the excess furniture was mine for college. I could have furnished my entire apartment almost without effort, but all of that furniture is now reserved for the new house! Garage sales, here I come.
Oh, the house is also nicely located... just a couple of blocks from Beth's old house.
