Comment, and I shall give you a letter. Go back to your journal, and write ten words beginning with that letter, including an explanation what the word means to you and why.

My Letter from kikibelle is D.

1. Dominguez - This is my last name. Obviously it means something to me since it's been part of my life for almost 30 years. I had a fight with my grandparents (Dad's parents) for years over them thinking that I hated this name and wanted to get married just to be rid of it. I've always found this name to be an important part of who I am. While it is Hispanic in nature most people don't believe that yes, I am in fact, part Spanish/Mexican. My great-grandparents were one of each, one from Mexico, one from Spain. This is part of my heritage and I love it.

2. Darkness - A great British band that sings a song called, "I Believe in a Thing Called Love." If you haven't heard it, pick it up, immediately. It was in the 2nd Bridget Jones movie and is played on my favorite radio station Virgin Radio UK almost daily.

3. Devoted - This is what I am to my friends and family. If you are able to enter my inner circle (and it takes a LOT to get there) then you are in for life. It takes a lot to lose my devotion.

4. Dallas - Of course this is one of the best cities in the world in my opinion. I live here, I've been in the area for 15 years and I can't imagine living anywhere else. I moved to Dallas proper in September 2005 and I am here to stay.

5. Detroit - While I've never experienced the actual city itself, I have been to its airport, twice in route to another Michigan destination. This city has special significance to me in that my best friend in the entire world, "crystella74 lives in one of its million suburbs. It also hosted the Super Bowl this year. Pretty cool.

6. Dad - One of the most important people in my entire life. He is my rock.

7. Dingleberry - This word always seemd hilarious to me when I was younger. Then while reading one of my favorite books, "Summer Sisters" by Judy Blume (an adult book, not the standard kids book she normally writes) I learned what the word actually meant and it made it even funnier. In honor of this word, I am reading SS again starting today. It's time for an annual read of it anyway.

8. Deleterious - One of my Dad's favorite words. It means "harmful often in a subtle or unexpected way." Hmm...

9. Dolphin - One of my favorite creatures in the world. I always thought it would be fun to go swimming with dolphins.

10. Distance - Seems like everyone I care most about in the world is far away.

This portion of the entry is brought to you by the letter F (and crystella74)
1. Felicity - I watched this show religiously for the first few seasons, then slacked off and now I am back into it. Who knew.
2. Friends - Still at the top of my list of favorite shows. I can quote most older episodes completely from memory and they still make me laugh.
3. Farmers Branch - Don’t understand where in the world they came up with the name for this town but it’s the town I work in. It’s a suburb of Dallas. Boring as all get out, but it’s a living.
4. Flush - This word for some reason always makes me giggle.
5. Fat - Because I am. And proud of it. Lol
6. Fish - Have had many fish as pets over the years. Odd, I hate seafood. Lol
7. Fellatio - Yes, another funny word. And yes, I know what it means. I’m in a strange mood, deal with it.
8. Flamingo - For some reason both of my parents in the last few years have developed a love for this bizarre creature. I always think of the theme song to Three’s Company whenever I see one, just for the scene when Terry does the one legged move at the LA Zoo.
9. Flip-Flops - Because if they were allowed I would wear them everywhere, every day, all the time.
10. Fingers - Because I could do my job without them.
