UGH!
OK, People, as a receptionist, I need to ask you all a favor.
When you get a missed call on your caller ID (cell phone or otherwise) and you don't recognize the number, and whoever called didn't leave a message, FOR GOD'S SAKE, Don't call the number and rudely say to the receptionist, "somebody called me at this number and didn't leave a message." There are 15 people who work here. I am not about to page every single one of them to ask if they called you. Not only that, but chances are if they didn't leave a message that it was A) a wrong number, dialed accidentally OR B) not that important and they will call back.
You'd be surprised how often this happens to me. It's almost as annoying as solicitors who say they're not selling anything.
