Why yes, I am awesome :)
This is probably the craftiest week I have ever had. Since last Sunday, I have:
- made homemade cookies
- made homemade brownies
- made "crab" cakes (from imitation crab)
AND
- made these awesome curtains for $3:
I was tired of the light waking me up at 8 am even on weekends, so I decided to head out and find something cheap to hang up. Turns out, IKEA has $3 flat sheets, and they had them in dark blue, which matches my comforter. I cut the sheet in half - and I even went crazy and cut off the ends and used them as tabs to hold the curtains open. Toss in a little sticky velcro, and the whole thing stays open and even looks decently cool. I'm kind of proud of my random crafty talents :p
Today is R&R day - tomorrow I'm going into D.C. to see some touristy stuff. I might cook something else tonight - see what I can do with tofu or something :)
