I learned today at my GYN appointment that a colposcopy involves putting vinegar... up there... and watching how the body reacts. Talk about strangely gross. However, my exam turned up normal, so I just have to come back in a year and get a direct HPV exam instead of a normal PAP. Assuming that comes back negative, I'll be all clear. I just ordered my NaNo shirt for the year and put in my donation. I had a (very brief) moment of "Why would I do this when I secretly suspect I won't make it this year with everything going on?" but I squashed that feeling. This year will be perfect. Reasoning why?
