wednesday was our farewell dinner. i feel that this is a very anticlimatic way to end things and to say goodbye. noone said goodbye at the farewell dinner because most people leave tommorow, but none of us are going to be all together at the same time again. last night i attended an engagement party for one of the ACM staff memeber's daughters. we got mehendi, ate spdp and i said goodbye to a few people. perhaps the strangest part about the whole thing is that since almost everyone else is going tommorow, we've been talking about what it will be like to return, so i've been mentally been preparing for going home, but i'm still in India for 10 more days and not going home for another 5 after that. the rest of my time in pune will be spent hanging out with my family and tying up all the loose ends. right now i have to do my final revision on my paper and turn it in.
