things are wrapping up and i'm less and less ready to leave this place. i realized while i was eating breakfast this morning that i've made it my home, i have grown accustomed to staring down cockroaches to wash my hands and that the worms will come out when i shower and that there is a colony of mushrooms in the corner between doors. i've grown to love pohe and sheera and the way i will never understand exactly what my family is up to, but smile and laugh with them. i've learned the proper way to dodge the ladies who wander the streets and attaack our foreheads with bindis and the proper way to direct the rickshaw walla home.
everything is due on wednesday. i still have to figure out the best way to diplomatically tell the kind family with a 30 year old autistic son that i can't put them in my paper because of time restraint and that i will send them a copy of a case study when i get home and learn how to write one.
