On my way to work last night, I rode along the bike path that runs allong the Ellicott Creek Flood Diversion Channel on its final mile leg between Sweet Home Road and Niagara Falls Blvd. Since it was late, around 11:30 when I was on the bike path, the creatures of the night were coming out. The first one I encountered was running at me and I wasn't able to determine what it was even after it turned around but I think it might have been a fox because it was similar in size as a cat. The second creature I was able to see its form clearly and determined by its size and tail to be a fox. It too was running towards me but at a different angle, it hid in the trees while I rode by. Near the end of the bike path, two deer were laying in the brush and were startled when I rode by. They ran into the taller brush. With my new light I got for riding at night, it makes seeing glowing eyes really easy. And it gets my adrenaline flown.
