I recently got a new music player, Foobar2000, which I am very pleased with. Oldskool, yet customiseable. Wonderful. You know what this means, don't you? YES. FAGGOTRY

I'm going to go with tarendol 's first because it is shorter...

Actually pretty hard to find something for "K" in my library. None of you will have heard of him, but Grönemeyer is awesome. Imagine.. Shakira. Only male. Now think less hair. Now add intelligence, originality and emotionally moving lyrics. In German. Now add drugs lots of gay even though he's actually hetero. And for the song, think of what you would say to a clingy ex after - or during - a nasty, nasty break-up. If you were the Dalai Llama. On crack. Yep.
E - Echoes of Eternal Life by Dawn of Tears
Some of you might remember starbomber109 's music reviews - he once did one for Dawn of Tears after I had pointed him to their freely downloadable album Descent (www.dawnoftears.com/ingles/download.html ), a rather trashy metal album of the kind I usually tend to avoid. Nontheless, I enjoy especially this track very much when I'm in the mood for some good, cheesy, mindless epicness.
N - Not Coming Home by Maroon 5
Easily the best song of the album Songs about Jane, only possible rival being Shiver, I really like this one. Sure, it's about as original as Harry Potter, but it sure has atmosphere.
T - The Good Left Undone by Rise Against
This isn't only another song in Rise Against's easy-listen-yet-forceful style, but this one really intrigues me: I like the lyrics, the structure, the consistency and expert use of imagery and well, the sound of it all. Gets a thumb and an artsy language nerd nod.
R - Radio/Video by System Of A Down
One of my all-time favourites by S.O.A.D. for it's rapid change of pace and, most of all I like the folk-like sessions, as if the band had just emigrated from Bulgaria or Romania and were playing the folk songs of their land, only with metal. It's awesome. Also batshit insane lyrics, but that's a given with this band.
I - Ice Queen (acoustic version) by Within Temptation
Their best song ever, hands down. Especially the acoustic version, which is ten times superior to any other. Capturing, poetic lyrics, classical structure, and I really dig the wonderfully fitting changes of her voice, from ethereal to harsh and everything inbetween. If I ever edit this to upload the songs, this one is a must.
N - Nymphomaniac Fantasia by Nightwish
A good example of the less artistic, still not-quite-fully-grown style of Nightwish's earlier albums, it does exhibit the raw power of Tarja's voice during that era. The imagery is horrible, though.
