I am amused at how anal retentive I get about my characters sometimes. Today I made a chart detailing the different heights, builds, hair, skin, and eye colors, etc., on top of the stats sheets that I do for all of them anyways, to make sure that I'm not doing the same design over and over again. It was fun, and easier than doing full reference sheets (which I wish I could do, but I'm not patient or persistent enough to do one for my maybe twenty + characters without going completely crazy). Now if only I actually did something with the dozen characters that I'm not roleplaying with static_planet. A lot of them have little situations set up but no real continuation to go with and I'm a slacker about figuring out what I should do with them afterwards, and they're mostly all seperate concepts so I can't just slap them all together into one story or something.
Made some prints of a couple of the digital pictures I'm most proud of, so I can put them in my portfolo for to show colleges and stuff. Unfortunately I get a little anxious about wasting ink because it does take a shitload to print out things in full color, though it's probably cheaper than doing it from DA.
Had some pretty bad art block yesterday, so I'm a little apprehensive about drawing today, which is annoying. My lines have really been frustrating me lately. Either they don't overlap evenly or they're too wobbly or they don't connect or overshoot each other or something. Maybe I'm drawing too fast or not carefully enough.
The weather is so warm... I think I'm dying. Thankfully, there is mint chocolate chip ice cream!
