Mom-Out of Rehab 7/14
Mom called this weekend, she is supposed to be leaving the rehab facility on the 14th. Her swallowing test went well and she may get her J-tube removed before coming home. So good news for her. On the other hand I was going to work extra hours that and the next week because John and Barb will be on vacation. Oh, well.
I hope she does well at home. We believe she should get someone to sleep over nights but she doesn't know who it would be. But she knows tons of people and someone may have a daughter or neice or granddaughter who would do it in lieu of rent. She has a Life Alert pendant but she doesn't use it when she needs to cuz "she doesn't want to wake up the neighbor". Sue would much rather be woken up at night rather than find my mom unconscious the next day and have to call 911. Sigh.
In other news, as the weather heats up so does my asthma and the albuterol opens the airway but leaves me with tremors, weakness, and anxiety.
