Last Friday I went to see Avenue Q The Farewell Run and though we came in late we still had a great time. Avenue Q is my second most adored musical next to Wicked. I really want to make a review but I'm too tired to articulate. Instead, allow me to quote someone else I can say an SME or subject-matter expert. She said and I quote: Some parts were a bit fast. My Girlfriend Who Lives in Canada for example. I can't understand it anymore. (From Lea Salonga, who we shared the elevator with after the show.) So to sum it up: Last Friday, I saw two Tony winners: Avenue Q and Lea.
(I would love to make an introduction about Avenue Q but it'll only bore you. If you are interested to know more about it, go to google.com)
The point of this entry is to make a response to one of the songs-Mix Tape. Kate Monster said: Sometimes when someone / Has a crush on you / They'll make you a mix tape / To give you a clue.
I think making a mix tape is kinda pimordial nowadays. Now, we make a playlist. In the iPod. So here are the songs I'd put in my crush's iPod.
Act I The Beginning
One Hello OST When Love Begins
You've Got a Friend
What Is This Feeling? OST Wicked
Paraiso Smokey Mountain
Bleeding Love Leona Lewis
Act II Sex
You Raise Me Up Josh Groban
Can You Feel the Love Tonight Elton John
Underneath Your Clothes Shakira
I Wish That I Was Making Love To You Tonight Agot Isidro
Come Together The Beatles
Act III Break-Up
All Out of Love Air Supply
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band (Reprise) The Beatles
All You Get from Love is a Love Song The Carpenters
Breakdown Mariah Carey
One More Time Daft Punk
I know I can make a better playlist but I've so many theories to read.
