Dong zhi, Tang yuan, Library....... (strange combination?)
Today is "dong zhi" 冬至, a day when we "have to" eat "tang yuan" 汤圆. This is the thing we must do for chinese tradition. And we have to worship our ancestors. Until now, maybe i did know once, but i really forgot already why we wanna eat "tang yuan". Maybe, i guess la, is because of "tang yuan" represents reunion? Gosh!! When did my general knowledges became so poor......sigh.....haaaa
Woke up early in the morning, helping my aunty to make "tang yuan". (It was fun for me when i was young...but i felt nothing now..)
Mum, this year's "dong zhi" i can't help you to make tang yuan. Sigh...and too, can't eat the "tang yuan" cooked by you.
After the preparation for the worshipping, i went back to school to see my physics lecturers. As today is the last day he would be here before the first final exam of A-level next year. So need to see him for a while to clear up the problems i met in physics.
Met my chemistry lecturer, Ms Nalina too. (She is also the advisor for SALSA, student association). And i have to prepare for the January intake's orientation on 28th of Dec. We have to do something for them. Sigh.....what a poor president. Even during the study leave, i still need to come back and do such stupid stuff for them... sobs....
Coll is kinda quiet as most of the schools are in holidays. Except medicine,pharmacy and nursing. And i met something really strange today!!!!! On my way to the library, i saw one of my senior-- Archana, walking towards library on the stair case, and reached the second floor of that building, which is the entrance of library. Second floor is an open area where i can talk loudly to her from downstair. So i shouted at her...." Arch!! " (that's her name's short form). But she didn't turn back. Maybe she didn't hear.
As i wanna discuss something with her, so i rushed to library. Looked around, she is not in the first floor of the library. (At that moment, library was quite empty. So i can glance through quite easily.) Went to the second floor, she is not there too. 3rd floor, the same. "Maybe she is in the computer lab.." (Our computer lab is linked with library. It is actually inside library. Haha... So i went to computer lab....
What the h...... SHE WAS NOT THERE!!! I checked every room in the comouter lab, but she wasn't around. Gosh!! I am sure i didn't see the wrong person just now. But she really wasn't there!! And the entrance of library is the only exit of it! Hmmm.....really weird la. Maybe i should msg her and ask...Haha. (If i got nothing better to do lah)
Until now i still can't understand why i cant find her. Oh...maybe, she was in the toilet. But not possible what, i should have met her after that !! ....Aiks, don't bother la...
