So it's been a busy couple weeks of life! After Jeff's National Tournament, I've been playing my own soccer (still at 4 games a week) and doing Enforcer-related things. So we'll address things in that order.
Soccer is going well. I'm playing better than ever and am injury free. *knocks on wood* I've noticed that I'm doing better on the wings than in the middle recently. Been able to hit a lot of good crosses in, get open for advanced through balls, and generally make a pest of myself offensively. Defensively I'm my usual stubborn self. If only the rest of my teams would step up. As in, step to the ball. Too much backing away and giving people the space they need to create opportunities and goals. Oh well, part of life.
Fantasy soccer has also started, with a weekend of surprising results. And my teams under-performing. Such is life, I'll bounce back. Can't let dad beat me after all. ;-)
Enforcer events are awesome. From parties, to karaoke, to SAX and final preparations for PAX itself. They've been getting the majority of my free time, I admit. But that's because we've been doing so many fun things. Like singing karaoke. Yes, it was glorious and devastating at the same time.
On a final note, I am up to no good. Again. Commence laughter here. None of the people involved read this, so I can cackle freely. I choose to simply state that it's pretty darn good to be me these days. Finally, back to being my old self after being blinded. I'd like to say never again, but we all know what sort of karma that brings. So I will simply strive to be the best I can be. And do things I never though I'd get away with.
Bis vincit qui se vincit in victoria
