Apparently, you people don't like picture-less posts. ;-) Soooo....here are some pics.
Our mama-robin is back!
She (I'm assuming it is the same one) built a next on our arbor last year, much later in the year and she came back. Here is the next last week, during the building process:
That was taken through our kitchen window, so it is just slightly blurry.
Here are some photos I took this morning. She startles easily when I'm in the kitchen, so when I noticed she wasn't there, I grabbed my camera to see if I could get egg pictures. Voila!
I was on my tippy toes with the camera over my head to get that shot. I'm just happy it's in focus!
Through the kitchen window again, here she is back on her nest:
In other happy news, I got my "lost" package from my secret pal!
That is some seriously fantastic Lane Borgosesia 100% merino wool laceweight (cobweb?) yarn that is in the most amazing color. She also sent me a set of the new Addi Lace Turbos (size 3)! ***drool*** I've been wanting to try these since they came out....now I just need to find a pattern worthy of this yarn. Thank you secret pal!
