Winter break and everything that followed...
So it has been quite awhile since I last wrote in here being that I went home without my computer for winter break. It was nice for awhile being back around the snow, but it got a little old toward the end of the break. Stephanie went with and she had a lot of fun with the snow, but I'm used to it and even though it was nice I was there for a little too long. We spent some time at my Dad's house for Christmas and she got to meet all the important people from my Dad's side of the family. We also spent some time at my Mom's apartment and we helped her move into my Grandpa's house because my Mom is worrying that he might be slipping just slightly, so she wants to stay with him for awhile and see if he is doing alright. I got to see Joe, Chi, Bryan and Jackie at various times in Becker as well as when Chi came down to meet us at my Dad's house and go to St. Paul and Dinkytown.
I didn't really want to come back down for college, but I didn't want the snow anymore either and if I was going to stay up there I wouldn't have wanted to stay in Mora. I kind of wish I could've had more free time in Becker, but I'll get back there sometime. Now I'm back here in Kingsville and it is a lot better now that I am back in my own place instead of travelling from house to house for a month. It is good to be back here though despite what had happened earlier this weekend, it was full of a bunch of commotion. I'm not going to get into it right now, but maybe later sometime. I just had to get down here and experience everything again in order to remember just how much fun I had down here before winter break. It's kind of odd that I missed Becker this much since I was always saying how there was hardly anything to do all of the time with everything closing before midnight, but going home for winter break again made me realize all of the fun times that I had in Becker.
Anyways, with winter break behind me I need to focus on the semester ahead of me right now. I still have to find myself an advisor to clear the hold that I have and find a bunch of money through loans and scholarships in order to cover this semester. Plus I have to find out how I'm going to be paying for all of the other things that I am going to be needing this semester. All that I know is that if I do happen to find enough money to cover this semester, I'm going to be broke come this summer so I have to start thinking about where I'm going to be working over the summer as well. So, I have a lot on my mind right now, but I can't really just sit back and relax because pretty much all of this stuff has deadlines and I also have a pretty crammed schedule with classes.
