So I just got back from seeing what might possibly be the worst movie ever created. I went with KK, her sister in law, and Jessica to go see Alfie tonight. I was really excited about it... First of all I love Jude Law (what a hottie), and second of all from the previews it looked like a total chick flick... romantic comedy and all. Little did I know I was going to see a soft porn. Okay so maybe it wasn't that bad... but okay maybe it was. It was horrible. We all were just waiting for the movie to get "good". You know that part where the movie makes its total turn around and then after the hour of wondering why you paid 8$ (yeah price has gone up) you finally see why it was worth your money and the ratings it got. Okay that definitely never happened. If anything it just went further and further downhill until it took a flying plunge into the "worst movies ever" category. So just for all those who read this... stay away from Alfie (no offense Jude... I still think you are a hottie... you just need Jesus in your life!)
Well, last night was pretty fun. Beck, Jess, and I all went to Barnes&Noble and then to the Blue Monkey with Stewart Hill and some of his med school buddies. It's a pretty cool little place I guess. I think it would have been a little more fun if it was a little warmer and we were sitting inside.... not outside in the 44degree weather. Needless to say though, i had a pretty decent time. I am just in desperate need for fellowship with people other then those who are related to me (not that I don't enjoy every second I spend with my parents.... because I do... believe me I really do... but you know what I am saying).
So, isn't it weird how the Lord works. This past week the Lord has really put my Russian friends (for those of you who don't know... I spent 7 weeks in Russia 2 summers ago) on my heart this week. So all week I was thinking about how I need to email them. Well today I checked my email... and one of them had emailed me out of no where!! Isn't that awesome... I mean I havent heard from her since last February. Yeah, the Lord is truly mysterious in how He works. If you ever get a second... pray for those lost people in Russia. They are hopeless and in desperate need of a Savior. My two girls from there (the girls I had a chance to establish a relationship with and talk to them about the Gospel) names are Tanya and Nadia. Pray for them k?
Okay well I thought I would end this post with yet another picture.... I know I can't stop... I'm addicted! So I thought it would be appropriate to end with 2 pictures from my summer in Russia... here ya go! Love you all!
