okay.... so I really don't have anything to post. My cousin, Jeffrey, had more surgery yesterday. They fixed his nose, teeth, scars, I mean you name it. I know he is about tired of having these surgerys. Pray that he continues to have a positive attitude and the Lord blesses him with a safe, speedy recovery.
So, I am obsessed with posting pictures now. Maybe one day I will get used to the fact that I can actually put pictures on here. However, that day is not today. This morning I was looking through old pictures from college and I found this one. I have to say it's one of my all time favorite pictures. Why you might ask? Well, it just describes my college career (at least the last few months of it). Okay so this is a picture of our porch where we had our world renown "porch parties". We were out there everynight until the wee hours in the morning talking about guys... first kiss's... who we would want to kiss... etc... (and of course if there were guys out there... we were talking about girls...chocolate...crushes...etc.). Okay the table you see that is covered up with not one but 2 table cloths. This is because one night... Jessica, Shelley, Becky, Ashley, Shawn and myself thought it would be really cool to melt candles and have a "wax table." Well, it was a superb idea until the morning when the wax had melted itself and the table was completely wet and dripping of wax. Therefore... we had to find 2 table cloths to cover up our horrible creation. Next, you will see the Tiki lights. Man... we loved those things. However, when we came back to get them after graduation..... someone had STOLEN them! It was really sad because we had spent a lot of time digging holes for those baby's to stand up and had lost a lot of good clothes by spilling a ton of citronella oil all over us (which you can find in the lower left hand side of the picture). Now, lets focus on the scissors on the table. Those scissors had so many uses. David, the guy sitting in the chair... became really attached to those scissors. Actually so much that he got the knickname David Scissor-Hands by the end of the year. You see... He would use those for practically anything... including.. trimming our shrubs. He was a handy-dandy guy. If you also could point your attention to the thing laying by the scissors... well that is an old picture. One night... all the roommates thought it would be fun to burn pictures of our ex boyfriends or just nasty pictures that we found of ourselves. Okay... we have already established David. He is a key part of this picture because by the end of the year... David and Shawn(a) were our 2 new roommates. They were over there enough that our house... was their home. MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PART of the picture is ASHLEY. I just think it is so classic because even though she is not "really" in the picture she is still smiling... thinking she is. It is just so her... it's perfect. Oh and of course... last but not least... we have me standing in my open doorway.. camera in hand... taking pictures... as always. I know it's silly... but you just gotta love those "classic" pictures. :) Have a wonderful day!
