Yep- today at three, I meet with Dr. Douglas for the first time to discuss the problems I've been having, and what we can do to help them. I'm wondering what the dianosis will be, and what meds he'll likely prescribe.
I also have a meeting with Kelvin Schwartz (sp?), the owner of Lawrence's
Celestial Ironworks to discuss me possibly working in a second gallery he'll be opening downtown in July. He can only guarantee me twenty hours a week to start at $7 an hour, but it'd be an art-related job... He said he's really interested in the experience I've had. It's just funny that he suddenlly called yesterday, after I'd applied waaaaay back in February or March.. Forest came and rescued me from Panera yesterday at around 2:15 or so, after I'd been trapped there since five that morning, and I was a pretty miserable lump at that point... I complained to her about needing a new job, and when I got home, Rob said I'd recieved the call. Pretty spiffy, no? Well, financially it's a pretty huge risk to take... Kelvin did say I could likely get more hours as time goes on (along with raises as I prove my worth) but it's just difficult to predict prior to opening.
So, yeah.. A day of a great many possible changes.
And I think it may be time to get a new job regardless, especially considering my realization the other day at Panera that the mini bundt cakes make me angry and I want to kill them.
