While with William last weekend, camping in Long Island, we went to see the Dark Knight. It was okay, an entertaining movie. The hype for this movie is insane. Though, I will say, I was really surprised at how good Heath Ledger was, I just assumed everybody praised his performance because he's dead.
Sarah and I, along with two of Karl's friends, went to Karl's beach house on Tuesday. Karl was talking about how, apparently, this movie was commenting on the bush administration, in a positive light. Like, the public not knowing what was good for them and such... but there were mixed messages throughout the movie. I guess now that Karl said that I could definitely see it.
The beach was really great, unfortunately William couldn't join us. I haven't been to an actual beach in a while (usually I'm on the sound in Long Island). We rode the waves, burried Karl in the sand, the usual beach merriment.
While on Long Island with William, I saw a shooting star for the first time.
Also, there was an insane amount of daddy long legs on our tent when we woke up each morning. It was basically the most terrifying thing, ever.
We went to the Southold Historical Society ice cream social, where you get ice cream and tour old houses. I was really excited about this because I used to go to this event when I was just a teeny Kelly. It wasn't as impressive as it was when I was itty bitty, but it was still fun.
Ugh I want to go soon:
-Old Bethpage
-Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo
Maybe my last trip before the summer ends?

Question:
Do you think people would spend money on my stuff (comically referred to as art)? I need some money and am thinking of doing some finished examples. I'm just unsure, because I don't want to get a bunch of responses saying they would, but they can't, or even worse saying they will but then they wind up not bothering.
