The Bates Family Legacy [7.1]
Hey! I'm back again, with more Bates family fun! Let's not waste any more time - I'll see you under the cut. :)
Since both the boys were still in quasi-relationships with the girls they used to live with (i.e. they had very high romantic relationships with them), I sent them to break it off. In a deserted public park. At night.
It did not go well.
With that out of the way, Seth and Soraya proceeded to get married on the side deck, where most of their relationship took place.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
I don't know why I took these photos, other than to showcase how dapper and adorable the two of them looked?
SORAYA: "Oh my God, I'm never going to sleep with another man for the rest of my life!"
Sweetheart, you haven't even slept with one man yet.
She rectified that problem pretty quickly.
(Also, i really like that photo on the wall! I think it just spruces the place up, and it's super romantic.)
Ellie came to visit!
It was...not a good time.
Meanwhile, Corrine and Bryce were finally moving forward in their relationship...
...and being super duper adorable to boot!
CORRINE: "Heh heh. You're cute."
They're my new faves. <3
YEAH, FINALLY!
The only thing is that this is sort of bittersweet: I was waiting until both Aidan and Layla had completed their LTWs to move them out of the house, so that there's room for generation 8 children. So now they have to leave and I'm a sad panda.
Soraya didn't have any sing-o-grams to perform, so I sent her down to the local simfest to see if I could get her to perform. It was too late for registration, so I just decided to have her stand on the lawn and play guitar to raise some money.
Turns out she was more popular than the actual act, who just hung around on the stage, watching her.
At that point, I started to feel a little guilty.
But Soraya was so popular, and she even got a promotion, so I stopped feeling bad.
Until I saw this: turns out that the girl Soraya upstaged was Seth's ex-girlfriend. So, if you're keeping track, Soraya stole this girl's man, and her crowd.
Oh, and Soraya also got flirted with by one of her fans at the end of her set. Already on the way to heartbreaker status.
THIS IS SO SAD I DON'T WANT THEM TO LEAVE.
But there's no room in the house otherwise, so there's really nothing I can do.
So Aidan and Layla hugged their daughter goodbye...
...left the house...
...and drove off to a new one. (I did choose a good one for them, don't worry.)
I can honestly say I have no idea where this man came from, or where I took this picture, but I wish I'd held out for him! He would've made such cute babies with either of the girls. D:
Speaking of making babies...
(Yeah, Bryce was a good choice. Look at that body!)
Did I forget to mention that Seth's cowardly? He saw a ghost, and then promptly went outside to faint.
Meanwhile, I had Bryce and Corrine get dressed up so he could propose.
I'M SO HAPPY!
Wasting no time, they tied the knot immediately after getting engaged.
And then got to work on the babymaking.
So did Soraya and Seth. (Unfortunately, if I remember correctly, no one is pregnant at this time.)

Bryce and Corrine had a slow start, but they've got to be the friskiest couple in my game. I take my eyes off them for a minute, and they're hopping into bed together. I feel like this is going to pose a problem for me.
Meanwhile, I sent Soraya out to see all the proprietors in the city and woo them with her sing-o-grams, so that they'd let her play in their simfests and bars. The lady at the park loved her.
The bar owner? Yeah, not so much. He said she wasn't "qualified" enough yet.
What a rat bastard! He'll get his!
Anyway, this is where I'm leaving you for now. I'm going to try to play the game this weekend, and maybe get out another chapter before I have to go back to focusing on school. :)
