J'irai a Paris en six jours...et j'ai peur. Les etudiants protestent la loi nouvelle. Je ne comprends pas les effets de la loi, fordi vet jeg ingen om arbeidet fransk -
Crap! I keep mixing up my French and Norwegian. I cannot begin a French thought without finishing it in Norwegian. It's the prepositions that mix me up - I never know which prepositions to use in either language, so I throw random ones in there. It's like I have this basket of prepositions, both Norwegian, French, and even a couple of Spanish ones, and I pull one out and it dictates which language I'll keep speaking in. Merde.
And this is why I'm a bit nervous about our upcoming trip to Paris. We'll see if any of those four years of high school French are still floating in my head. Gotta draw on those French camp skills...powers of Club Coin, activate!!!
