Geek Update
Are you on Google Wave? If so, add me to your contacts: kelowna@googlewave.com as it is lonely on there. So far I've got about 8 of your LJ folke and ONE from Toronto, dayam.
Also trying out the Lists on Twitter. Definitely expands usability for me on there. Allows me to peek into those that I admire's lists without sifting through who may be "friends" and who may be a viable source of information or entertainment that interests me. I was pretty generic with my list names but may actually segment 'folkiknow' to be locational like 'sf', 'dc' and 'tor'. Just getting a handle on it right now. Particularly, I am all about following other peoples created lists in their entirety. It is kinda like going to a friend on here friends page. So I guess they plucked a bit from FB and a bit of LJ and made it very Twitter-core. I approve.
Jury is still out on Google Wave. Getting accustomed to the threaded conversations and random blank chunks that I end up creating when I'm thinking about conversing. So far, in terms of apps/extensions i've only tried the wiki and the twitter (tweety). Further exploration in process.
