I've been doing a lot of research and writing about Adelaide Crapsey of late. It's amazing to me that a poet who was so well-received upon publication, and who pioneered a new form of poetry as well as writing a rather innovative tome on metrics, was so quickly forgotten by history. As I've said previously, writing free verse is not as simple as taking regular sentences and breaking them into bite-sized bits.
