Making a plan

You may recall that more than a year went by with me barely blogging, thanks in part to massive upheaval in my personal life. (Pretty much all for the good too - I mean, I'm really in the best relationship I've ever had now, and I'm happy most of the time, which is pretty darned great. But I digress.) Sometimes making a plan is just the thing to get moving, and I'm so glad you're back to blogging here and dreaming up new projects. I've been trying to get back to blogging on LJ too--off I go to post!

While "the best-laid plans of mice and men/oft gang agley", I find that if it's truly a planned activity, I have a much better chance of getting to it than if it's not really on the list and I figure I'll do it if I get some spare time.

The bar takes a LOT of prep time. The writing will still be there when you're done.

Huh. I could have written this post. Except it's only been a 5-6 month lapse for me. And I too have recently decided I need to just Get On With It, make a plan, and get back to things.

I feel so SO much better reading that plans do work! Way to be inspirational. Thanks. :)
