Speaking of Guys Lit Wire, we are once again conducting a book drive for Ballou High School in Washington, DC. The ALA goal for libraries is to have 11 books per student in a school library. When we started with Ballou a few years back, it had only 1500 books for 1200 students - or 1.25 books per kid. At the start of the present book drive, the school library was up to 5,484 books - nearly 1/3 of the way to the goal. The book fair runs through this Sunday, October 14th. I hope you will participate!
