A few things about my work-in-progress:

It's not in verse.
It's like nothing I've ever written before.
I am starting to fall in love with my characters.

Also?

I am starting to fall in love with Scrivener for Windows. I downloaded the first beta version of it, and am enjoying using it thus far. I'd started writing the manuscript in Word, ( Read more... )

This is sort of how I do my NaNo stories. Rough short scenes with lots of bracket notes to help me get through the plot to the end. Then I go back after NaNo and fill in.

And I am loving Scrivener for Windows, too!

I definitely see the benefits of Scrivener - the adding/deleting/shifting possibilities are just so much better than what exists in Word!
