Tonight
1. Fold five loads of laundry. Yes, really.
2. Finish composing a post for
Guys Lit Wire to be posted next Tuesday.
3. Type up my notes from my interview of Nikki Giovanni and her editor, Laura Godwin, last week so that I can write a post for
I.N.K.: Interesting Nonfiction for Kids to be posted next Wednesday.
4. Perform some administrative duties for
the CYBILS poetry category. (You're all placing your bets making your nominations, yes? Only please, please read the instructions for each category so that you aren't nominating novels in poetry and fantasy in regular fiction, and stuff.)
5. Send an email to one of the authors I'll be interviewing for the Winter Blog Blast Tour.
6. Finish packing for tomorrow's trip. Remember laptop.
Tomorrow
1. Kiss kids goodbye, and head off to airport.
2. Check emails and CYBILS stuff and whatnot using airport wifi.
3. Fly to Chicago for the Annual General Meeting of the Jane Austen Society of North America.
4. Spend afternoon and evening with hubby, who's never been to Chi-town, the Windy City, the city with the big shoulders. I'm unsure what we'll be seeing, exactly, but I'm hoping for the Museum of Science and Industry or the Art Institute of Chicago, although if we had wheels, I'd be all for a tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright houses.
