I got to bed late last night (don't ask) and up extra early today (part of the new schedule), so my brain already feels addled. I am therefore resorting to a list, alliteratively named "Things on a Thursday ( Read more... )

Good for you for having so many things. I'm stuck on number 1 myself as my little girl started her first day of high school yesterday. I was proud of myself for not being as nervous as I thought(I'm a wee bit of a worrier) but quickly offset that by getting a massive headache in the evening. I'm hoping we all have a better day. I've got to get me some more Thursday things.

Definitely find something other than "recover from massive headache" to the list. Here's one: Eat chocolate. (Or scones. Or both.)

I'm so embarrassed about the poem-skipping thing. But I know I'm not alone!

Hope you enjoy the book, Kelly. And that warhead thing -- I always figured it was happening, too. And yet, reading about it gave me the willies.

I didn't have the willies until I read that the administration freaked out about it.

Ah, Possession--thanks for bringing that one up; I want to watch it again. I've not read the book yet, but now I will!

Yesterday we saw some military aircraft flying over our town. We were walking into the library and my son started freaking out. "It's the war! It's the war!" I wonder if it had anything to do with what you mentioned....

I think the warheads went over last week, so probably not. But poor little guy!

I should write a board book: Miss Kelly's Busy Day. I could dress up as a spider for it and everything.
