We had a lovely warm day today, albeit a bit windy.  While the sun was out, we picked up large twigs and sticks in the yard for Uncle so it's easier for him to mow.  We had a look at the tree by my bedroom window, and it's still alive.  Miraculous, since it took a hard strike.  So the chances of it blowing over in another storm are not as great as ( Read more... )

The Saturday after Good Friday is known as Silent Saturday, for it is the quiet time when Jesus rested in the tomb before letting his disciples and his devoted followers know that He had risen.  On this day we take time to reflect on His gift and His wonderful resurrection, which happened the next day.  What a glorious day it was!  Death could not ( Read more... )
