Chicken with its head cut off
Okay, so, life has been SO crazy lately!!! There have been so many things on my mind that I can't really remember how I get through each day. See, I've been stressing about this study abroad application because it's due next Tuesday (YIKES!!!) and I only decided to do it last week. So, I've had to get transcripts sent, academic advising done (with two different people), get my faculty recommendation form filled out, fill out the actual application, meet with the International Student Center advisor, etc, etc. PLUS, I have my normal class load; I have to make a dichotomous key for Mammalogy (which I don't know how to do), study for my Oceanography midterm (which was tonight), write a lab report (due yesterday), write a five page narrative (due yesterday), correct and add to my narrative (due next week), make a chocolate cheesecake, five dozen cookies, and a pecan pie (due Thursday). PLUS I have a philanthropy thing to do this weekend that would be fun if it wasn't going to be outside; for those of you who haven't been watching the news, Southern California is being FLOODED by bad weather. It's only February and 2005 is already the 4th wettest year in SD on record. AND we had a tornado (YES!!! A TORNADO in SoCAl) yesterday and have been on tornado watch all day. Absolutely insane. But, remarkably I'm not in too bad of a mood. Granted, I'm worried that I'm not going to be able to pull off this study abroad thing by next Tuesday, but we'll see I guess.
