I am procrastinating on studying for finals. I just finished (mostly) my insurance law paper that is due Monday. I have to study for my Pieper final that is Monday and my DNA final that is Tuesday. I am probably the only person in NY looking forward to bar review. I can not wait to go on my leave of absence.

 I am feeling extremely overwhelmed and engulfed by everything going on.  I have 1 month left of school and then I am done forever.  My excitement has begun to turn to panick.  I signed up for the bar exam today so that is one less thing.  Granted, I still have to hand in more things to the school to make my application complete.  I wish I knew ( Read more... )

 It's been a while since I got a reward (or possibility of) for my efforts.  A new position opened up at work and I popped for it.  It would be lateral move so probably no pay increase but the experience would be invaluable.  Co-workers can apply for the position for the next week.  I know there are secretaries in the office who have paralegal ( Read more... )

I have an appointment with OCS (Office of Career Services) today for them to review my resume and make some suggestions.  I think my resume is pretty good.  Let's see what they have to say though.  I am getting nervous about the prospect of looking for a job.  I wish I knew if I was guaranteed a job with SF and then I wouldn't have to bother ( Read more... )

Today I did opening statement, a cross examination and juror selection at work for the NITA program.  I was very nervous and glad it is over.  Tomorrow I have direct examination and closing.

I am proud of myself.   :)

I am trying to get back into school mode.  This is my 4th week.  The 1st week was just introductions, 2nd week had Labor Day, 3rd week had Rosh Hoshana.  This the 1st weekend I have had to read both days for several hours.  I hope I am ahead of where we get up to in class.  Other than that, school is going well.
