Return to the Land of the Living
So I suppose I am long overdue for an update. Sophie is fixed though she does occasionally make some sort of strange noise that I will have to have inspected at some point.
In the end I missed coronation because I had to do mundane things like wash clothes. Since the dryer has died that means I can only wash on sunny days since I have to hang clothes on the line to dry. Though on an interesting side note we did get a card last week as apparently there is a class action lawsuit about the dryer. I am just hoping once it’s settled there will be enough to pay for a new dryer. Anyway, Sunday I went to the Red Hat demo at the park and had loads of fun. I watched the fighting, flirted with the fighters and had a lovely chat with Jen and Eriduin. In fact it was so lovely that we ended up going out shopping, (yes in garb) and then went out to dinner.
Unfortunately later that night I got the worst headache. I figured that it was a migraine took some medicine and went to bed confident that I would be fine in the morning. Boy was I wrong. When I woke up Monday morning I could not for the life of me get my right eye to open and to say that my head was killing me would be the understatement of the millennium. So all things considered I decided to call work and tell them it was a no go. It was 2:00 pm before I managed to get my eye to open. I went that night to pick Gaia up at the airport, as there was no one else to do it. Tuesday when I woke I was feeling marginally better so decided I was going to work. I made it down there and was told that I was white as a ghost and needed to go home. That was it I spent the rest of the week at home in bed, with the exception of going to the doctor Wednesday morning and my mistaken attempt to go to work Friday.
All this means that I missed Kingdom Crusades, which I was really looking forward to going to.
Fortunately I now feel loads better. Though I am trying really hard not to overdue it, something I always do once I start to feel well.
Okay I think that covers everything for the moment. There might be some more news in the offing but I am keeping that to myself for the moment.
