Overall, I'd give World Fantasy Convention an A++.
My reading on Thursday night had about thirty people in the audience--around ten of whom I didn't know!
Brad Beaulieu's reading on Friday went over well--Brad, Paul Genesse, and I each took turns reading different characters, and we acted out one scene. Brad suggested the format, and I have to say it turned out super-creative and cool (much like Brad). So much fun, and I felt so honored to be a part of it.
Met some online friends and made new friends.
Autographed a man's chest. (Yes, it's as much fun as it sounds.)
Drank copious amounts of Kahlua and wine (not at the same time).
Slept too little.
I'd like to attend 3-4 cons next year and am looking at the calendar and wallet to figure out how to make that happen. Tentatively thinking WisCon, GenCon, WorldCon, WFC, and WindyCon. That loads four cons in a four-month span, though. Ack!

Now I'm back in the trenches, working on Stormy Weather while I send out queries for The Daphne Project.
