Ever since I heard that it monsooned on S and D's wedding day, I've become a firm believer in the predictive powers of pathetic fallacy - that being said, your marriage should also go swimmingly. Can't wait to see the pics!!

Love and many kisses M.

Alliterative reports and marriage to boot. Your world sounds really awesome.

Also, "husbands" who read are hot.

I have been struggling for literally seconds trying to figure out if your post was supposed to be an acrostic poem. I IEFHOCTI. Remember the show BumperStumpers? Where contestants are shown personalized faux licence plates and have to decipher? So far I've come up with "I ate Octopus at my wedding" (I efh [have] octi [octopus]) of "F$#k you for missing my wedding" (Ie [I] fhoc [f&@k] ti [spanish for "you").

Hidden meanings aside, congratulations to you both, you crazy newlyweds. Throw rice at your head on my behalf, unless you're afraid the pigeons will eat its excessive volume, swell up, and explode, in which case simply blow bubbles at each other. Get ready for at least 3 years of "so, how's married life for the newlyweds?" (next year I can tell you if it goes on for longer).

Looking forward to a wicked wedding party. Have purchased finely-crafted gold-plated duck for the occassion. (somebody better have told me a story about a finely-crafted, gold-plated wedding duck on Fares' dock or I'm totally on some hard crack today).

I had a teacher who won a car on Bumper Stumpers.

Also, if you throw birdseed at your head (or others' heads) you can avoid the whole swollen pigeon belly fiasco. And feed some starving nesting mama birds in the process. I am totally doing that if I ever get married. Which means that I will have bird poo on my dress and in my hair.

Most importantly, however, congratulations newly wifely! So, how's married life for the newlyweds?

I am nowhere near coherent enough these days to compose an acrostic poem post. My formatting is much more about my fondness for bullet points and lists than any sort of poetic leanings.

I was just wondering earlier today how long a couple remains newlyweds, and am surprised to hear that it can last for at least three years. Wow. That seems excessive to me, but what to I know about it? I've only been married for eight days.

It was in fact a gold-plated duck-shaped bowl that was discussed on the dock, but a gold-plated duck will also be lovely. Think I'll be able to hock it?
